American rapper and actor Common has been announced as Global Citizen's latest ambassador, helping the human rights charity's efforts to 'ban cash bails'.

Global Citizen announced the news on Instagram, posting 'We are so excited to announce @common as our newest Global Citizen Ambassador! Along with Global Citizen, the rapper, actor, and activist will continue his work focusing on criminal justice reform and efforts to end cash bail'.
